Kabul, May 27 (Prensa Latina) - Authorities in the Afghan Paktia province Sunday denounced the killing of eight civilians, including six children, in an air raid of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization.
The incident took place in Suri Khail, where according to the NATO command Afghan and Nato-led International Security Assistance Force (ISAF) troops were in a combat with the insurgency and requested for air support.
NATO sources said that they were investigation the denunciation, reiterated over and over again, even by the government of President Hamid Karzai.
The Atlantic organization admitted in a brief report the death of four of its troops in South Afghanistan as a result of the bomb attacks, but refrained from mentioning the nationalities of the victims.
